Invert Syrup: A Smarter Approach to Sweetening

Posh’s Invert Syrup is a clear to straw-coloured liquid sweetener made through the hydrolysis of sucrose into glucose and fructose. With a sweetness level approximately 1.3 times higher than regular sugar, it enables reduced usage levels while achieving the same flavour impact.

Beyond sweetness, it improves moisture retention, prevents crystallisation, and enhances fermentation and browning reactions—making it ideal for a wide range of food applications.

Manufacturing Process

  1. Inversion Begins – Cane sugar and water are processed under controlled temperature and pH for 12–46 hours, depending on the desired degree of inversion, to optimise the process.
  2. Concentration & Filtering – The product is concentrated and adjusted to the required solids level, then filtered to ensure clarity and uniformity.
  3. Packing – The final syrup is securely packed for safe delivery and long-term stability.
