Steps
required

Producing caramel colors is a meticulous process that ensures its unique qualities, like improved solubility and moisture retention. Each step is designed to achieve the perfect balance of functionality and flavor, making it a versatile ingredient in various applications.

Precise Caramelization

The process begins by adding cane sugar syrup into a cooker, where it’s agitated. Reactants are added based on formulation and caramel color type (Class) as per global standards like CODEX, FCC, JECFA, and FSSAI. The heating is initiated, and the cooker is sealed to maintain the pre-determined pressure and temperature for consistent results.

Filtration & Storage

Once the desired color is achieved, the heating is halted, and the product is cooled and filtered. It is then tested for quality compliance before being stored for final processing. The liquid caramel color is pumped into storage, ensuring it’s ready for packaging.

Transformation & Packaging

Posh Caramel Color can be packaged directly as a liquid for convenience or transformed into a powder via spray drying. Both liquid and powder forms are then packaged based on your specific requirements, ensuring a high-quality solution for your application needs.
